Resoconto della stagione 2008/2009 e programmi per la nuova stagione.


Care amiche, amici, sostenitori e simpatizzanti,
lo scopo di questa lettera è di ringraziarvi per avermi seguito, anche solo “virtualmente”, in questa stagione 2008/2009; non posso fare altro ora che augurarvi un buon mese di agosto, durante il quale anche il sottoscritto si concederà una pausa (meritata?...) prima di “riaprire le danze” a settembre.
E’stata una stagione intensa e gratificante, ma allo stesso tempo molto dura a causa, anzi, grazie ai tanti progetti che mi son girati tra le mani; tra tutte le cose ce n’è una in particolare che mi ha “provocato” una particolare soddisfazione: la rassegna Illegal Magique al circolo arci Cicco Simonetta di Milano, in cui ho realizzato il piccolo sogno di avere un mio spazio fisso, intimo e suggestivo, a Milano in cui educare ed erudire il pubblico sull’argomento “magia”; da ottobre 2009 riprenderò con entusiasmo l’Illegal Magique, che si protrarrà sino a maggio 2010, sempre una volta al mese.

Ancora al Cicco Simonetta, tutti i martedì, ha avuto luogo il laboratorio di cabaret-teatro-canzone Democomica, diretto da Rafael Didoni e Germano Lanzoni, al quale partecipo dal 2006 con lo scopo di tener vivo a Milano un punto di incontro dove si faccia comicità ma anche arte e cultura.
Ho partecipato spesso anche al Pentesilive, una sorta di jam-session di poeti metropolitani diretta da Vincenzo Costantino “Cinaski” e Flavio Pirini, al Pentesilea di Milano (tutti i sabati); è proprio tra Pentesilive e Democomica che è nato il mio nuovo personaggio dello show-man francese (il mio primo vero personaggio comico).
Sempre con Cinaski e Pirini, ha avuto luogo Ragooledì, uno spettacolo di musica, poesia, canzone e illusione, ogni due mercoledì del mese al Ragoo (il vecchio Zelig) di viale Monza a Milano; mi auguro di ripetere anche questi appuntamenti con la nuova stagione.

Ciò che ho invece interrotto, subito a ottobre, è stato il rapporto professionale col Miracoloamilano Show Restaurant, dove mi sono esibito settimanalmente per tre anni e dove nell’ultimo anno avevo assunto la direzione artistica (creando uno show comico visivo unico a Milano, reso ancor più spettacolare dalla macchina scenica di cui disponevo); qui è nato il Freakabaret, la mia compagnia stabile composta da Carlo Della Santa, Robin Sheller, Martelli Frax (Didi Mazzilli e Paolo Brandolini). Come già detto, ho interrotto l’impegno col Miracoloamilano per incomprensioni con la direzione, le ho subite per anni, sino a quando ho sbottato portando via artisti e spettacoli dal locale, nonché il 90% della clientela (il nostro pubblico affezionato). Tra l’altro, lo scherzo che ho fatto a Paola Barale per Scherzi a Parte, andato in onda su Canale 5 a febbraio di quest’anno, è stato girato proprio lì l’anno scorso!

L’autunno 2008 mi ha visto ancora ospite a Lumache Sciò, il gruppo di comici formato da Marco Baz Bazzoni, Carlo Della Santa, Marzio Rossi, Alex De Santis, Mitcha, Alice Mangione, in scena tutti i lunedì al teatro Barios di Milano; gli inviti ad esibirmi nel loro spettacolo sono continuati anche nel 2009 e “minacciano” di volermi ancora nella prossima stagione.

Ma la cosa più importante dello scorso autunno è stato il mio ritorno al teatro Trévise di Parigi, il teatro off più famoso della città, dove sono stato licenziato anni prima per aver spento una sigaretta sul palcoscenico durante un mio sketch (era il mese di ottobre del 2002); dopo 6 anni il direttore mi ha concesso di tornare e non vi dico l’emozione che ho provato risalendo su quel palcoscenico, sembrava che il tempo non fosse passato mai…anche perché in platea a sostenermi c’erano gli stessi due amici di Parigi presenti quella famigerata sera…
Son tornato, in seguito, ad esibirmi al Théatre Trévise a gennaio e a maggio per il FIEALD Festival International d’Expression Artistique Libre et Desordonné, che riprenderà il 13 settembre 2010.

Durante l’autunno 2008 sono stato invitato ad esibirmi in tv a Dammi il 5 su Telenova e a Festa in Piazza su Antenna 3, nonché ad Espansione tv di Como nel talk-show Zerotreuno per alcune interviste sui miei progetti e le mie iniziative; le mie partecipazioni saltuarie a questi programmi sono continuate anche durante l’inverno e la primavera 2009.

Mentre a Varese, che è la mia città natale, ho organizzato il secondo gala della magia al quale ha preso parte anche il famoso illusionista svizzero Fantasios, uno dei primi maghi professionisti che vidi in tv da bambino (e che ora mi ritrovavo sul palco a presentare..); anche Mr.Forest (che è venuto ad assistere alla serata) è rimasto basito nel vederlo lì! Purtroppo la nevicata che ha sorpreso Varese quel giorno ha decimato il pubblico, peccato; l’anno precedente sono venute 500 persone ad assistere alla prima edizione..e senza nomi di richiamo in cartellone!

Dopo il capodanno al Cab 41 di Torino (uno dei locali di cabaret più importanti d’Italia), ma soprattutto dopo le feste natalizie, ho ripreso i miei appuntamenti e le varie serate; tra i vari locali vorrei citare il Fico d’India (ex Arlecchino) di Vedano Olona-VA (dove ho mosso i primi passi vent’anni fa assieme ai Fichi d’India) e il Giardino d’Inverno di Milano (dove ho tentato invano di “traslocare” la compagnia del Freakabaret). Ma anche la Casa 139 di via Ripamonti e il Bel Sit di via Barona (entrambe a Milano), l’Amigdala Theatre di Trezzo sull’Adda (un locale spettacolare!) e il Caffè Teatro di Verghera di Samarate (dove ho visto nascere i primi sketch di Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo…molti anni fa).

Il 21 febbraio è stata per me una data importantissima, poiché ho festeggiato i miei primi vent’anni di attività artistica professionale con un grande show nel giorno del mio quarantesimo compleanno; la serata si è tenuta al teatrino di Varese, dove molti amici artisti si sono esibiti gratuitamente (e dove tanti altri amici sedevano in platea). Devo assolutamente citare l’eccezionale performance, unica al mondo, di Alfredo Nocera, l’inventore dell’Istant Fashion, un numero col quale gira da anni il mondo e tutti i più grandi show televisivi planetari; forse lo avrete visto anche voi in tv dove, in pochi secondi e con l’ausilio di alcuni pezzi di tessuto e due o tre spilli, crea stupendi abiti da sera sulla sua modella. Alfredo è stato uno dei primi artisti che ho conosciuto agli inizi della mia carriera a fine anni ’80, che emozione vederlo sul palco al mio compleanno!

A marzo è giunto poi il momento di portare in scena una mia produzione teatrale: Ombre e Nebbia, eccitazioni poetiche a Milano, uno spettacolo al quale stavo lavorando da mesi e a cui tenevo moltissimo; si tratta di quella mia seconda vena artistica che mi porta ad esplorare l’inconscio dell’essere umano attraverso la contaminazione delle arti. Ho ideato questo spettacolo curandone ogni minimo aspetto, dalla drammaturgia alla direzione artistica, sino alla messa in scena finale. Quella che segue è la presentazione della locandina.

Uno spettacolo sensoriale, onirico, umoristico; un connubio profondo tra musica, danza, canzone, poesia e arte magica.Cinque interpreti di diverse discipline artistiche, ma uniti da una poetica comune, entrano in contaminazione per dare vita a quadri teatrali fatti di immagini, suoni e parole.Il palco è una nuda scatola nera avvolta dalla nebbia, senza scenografie, per esaltare al massimo il gesto artistico ed il talento interpretativo, con una sottile e discreta regia di luci, suoni e ombre. Lo spettacolo si snoda attraverso una serie di “quadri teatrali” dall’impronta onirica, in cui è lo spettatore a decidere la propria trama; Milano è la città in cui gli artisti intravedono, nella nebbia quotidiana, ombre di follia da tradurre in arte; nebbia come metafora, perché è sempre più fitta, ma negli occhi della gente..

A questo spettacolo hanno partecipato il cantautore Folco Orselli, il poeta Vincenzo Costantino “Cinaski”, la danzatrice Arianna Cavallo e l’attore-cabarettista Germano Lanzoni, coi quali è avvenuto uno scambio di “vedute artistiche” straordinario; l’assistente tecnico Mauro Maderna, col quale ho cominciato a collaborare al Miracoloamilano nel 2006, diventato ora il mio fido tecnico personale, quella mano nascosta senza la quale non potrei ottenere determinati effetti visivi e sonori.
In uno degli spettacoli che sto scrivendo per l’anno prossimo io non sarò, per la prima volta, in scena ma esclusivamente alla regia; è un lavoro che mi appassiona sempre di più e che sto studiando a mie spese (nel senso economico).

Il mese di Aprile è stato molto particolare ed emozionante, per due eventi ben diversi tra loro. Il primo “evento” è stato quello di riuscire a portare un mio spettacolo in una galleria d’arte, lo Spazio Tadini di Milano. Mi sono esibito con una performance di illusionismo legata al mondo dell’arte, con richiami a quadri famosi e citazioni letterarie; il titolo Atto Magico, live contamination #3, con la pianista Lena Panfilova e il bassista Flavio Settegrani.
(La prima live contamination l’avevo portata in scena al Teatro San Fedele di Milano nel 2007 e avevano partecipato il trombettista Raffaele Kohler e Andy dei Bluvertigo.)
Sempre allo Spazio Tadini, da settembre, inizierò una bellissima collaborazione; darò vita ad una rassegna dal titolo IMAGE/MAGIE, con appuntamenti mensili in cui la magia si fonde col mondo dell’arte (a settembre riceverete la prima comunicazione dettagliata di questa rassegna).

Il secondo evento del mese di aprile, molto importante, è stata l’esperienza da me vissuta in Abruzzo nei primi giorni del terremoto, dove mi sono esibito nelle tendopoli della provincia di L’Aquila, intrattenendo bambini e adulti; tra le mie note su facebook e myspace potete trovare un “racconto” su quei giorni.

Durante la primavera ho partecipato a vari spettacoli di beneficienza al Teatro Ciak di Milano per cause importantissime; ho condiviso il palco con Debora Villa, Paolo Rossi, Mr.Forest, Max Pisu, Flavio Pirini, Flavio Oreglio, Ale e Franz, Cinaski, Stefano Chiodaroli, Claudio Batta, Walter Leonardi, Lucia Vasini, Pali e Dispali e molti altri che non posso elencare..ma sono tanti e tutti uniti nella divulgazione di messaggi sociali importanti. Però si sa che a queste serate la gente accorre più per vedere l’artista famoso che per la causa..ma almeno le associazioni umanitarie esultano!
Sempre a Milano, sono stato invitato come ospite al Premio Nebbia 2009 al Teatro San Fedele e al Teatro della Contraddizione nello spettacolo Radio, ovvero, l’adunata dei refrattari.

Intanto giugno è arrivato e la stagione stava terminando; ho concluso con vari spettacoli all’aperto (finalmente) e con qualche evento commerciale (come la convention Max Mayer al Casino di Campione d’Italia); giugno è anche il mese in cui ho fatto alcuni provini televisivi.
Una serata importante ha preso vita a fine giugno, dove mi sono esibito in uno spettacolo
organizzato da Henry Zaffa (e presentato da Francesco Salvi) con lo scopo di raccogliere fondi per il nostro collega Walter D’Amore (capostipite della magia comica milanese), gravemente malato e bisognoso di cure; tra il pubblico c’erano moltissimi prestigiatori, mentre sul palco si sono esibiti anche Raul Cremona, Mr.Forest, Enrico Bertolino, Alberto Patrucco, Duilio Martina, Leonardo Manera, …poi un diluvio universale ha interrotto la serata.

A inizio luglio è accaduta una cosa divertente, più o meno, poiché mi sono esibito (per una famosiiiiiissima agenzia) ad una sfilata di moda a Castellaneta (TA) e sono finito su un giornale di gossip; dopo una settimana è uscito un servizio su Vero..Vivo..boh..in cui c’erano le foto di Albano e Tacconi (anch’essi ospiti) e della presentatrice Barbara Chiappini, più una mia foto (con tanto di nome nella didascalia) in mezzo a sei bellissime modelle. La cosa mi ha divertito ma speravo non la vedesse nessuno (mi piace apparire sui giornali per altri motivi), invece la tabaccaia del mio paese, dove tutt’ora vivono i miei genitori, l’ha vista e mi ha fatto una gran pubblicità…così ora, quando vado a Biandronno tutti mi chiedono di Lele Mora…

L’ultima settimana di impegni è stata quella di metà luglio, culminata con la mia partecipazione allo spettacolo della Magic Week di Saint Vincent, dove ho ritrovato “vecchi” amici e conosciuto di nuovi, in una rassegna ben organizzata da Walter Rolfo e dal Circolo Amici della Magia di Torino.
Ora mi godrò il mese di agosto tra mare, montagne e laghi prima di rituffarmi nel lavoro (anche se qualche seratina me la farò..ma proprio quattro o cinque, massimo sei, ma niente stagioni a Disney o tour estivi); sono molto contento per ciò che mi aspetta nella nuova stagione ma ho assolutamente bisogno di riposo fisico e mentale. Mi devo preparare per l’inizio delle registrazioni, a settembre, di Central Station una trasmissione di cabaret in onda sul canale sky 117 Comedy Central (e replicata anche su Mtv); mi esibirò col mio personaggio francese, che sto un po’ rodando nelle serate estive (anche per trovare nuove gag e idee).

Per concludere, sappiate che dopo anni di latitanza dal mondo dei congressi magici ho deciso di ricominciare a frequentarli; la mia recente esibizione a Saint Vincent è stato il primo passo verso questo ritorno. Parteciperò al congresso del Club Magico Italiano a Abano (PD) a ottobre e a molti altri, in un percorso che mi porterà al campionato mondiale di magia (detto FISM) a Blackpool in Inghilterra nel 2012.

Quindi riprenderò tra un mese i miei impegni, ma non sarò il Tafazzi di quest’anno; ho spinto molto, ho dato tutto, pure troppo, trascurando la mia vita, tanto da perdere la cosa più preziosa che avevo. Tutto ciò mi ha fatto riflettere e mi sta cambiando nel profondo; ho voluto scrivere tutto questo come prova di quanti sacrifici debba fare uno che fa il mio lavoro per ottenere qualcosa. Oggi ho capito quali sono le cose per cui vale la pena soffrire e lottare e quali no; forse, a 40 anni compiuti, si ha una percezione della vita diversa o forse, senza accorgermene, sto cambiando.
Non so cosa succederà, ma qualsiasi cosa accadrà avrà bisogno di un po’ di magia..di quella vera, ma soprattutto del vostro prezioso sostegno.

the purpose of this letter is to thank you for having followed, even if only "virtually" in the 2008/2009 season, and I can do now is wishing you a good month of August, during which the undersigned will be granted a break (deserved ?...) before restarting in September.

It was an intense and rewarding season, but at the same time very hard because, indeed, thanks to the many projects I have shot through the hands, between all things there is one in particular that I was "caused" a particularly pleased the review Illegal Magique at
the circle arci Cicco Simonetta in Milan, where I made the little dream to have my drive space, intimate and evocative, in Milan in which erudite and educate the public about the "magic"; from October 2009 I’ll restart Illegal Magique, which will run until May 2010, also once a month.

Still to Cicco Simonetta, every Tuesday, has been the laboratory of cabaret-theater-song Democomica
, Directed by Rafael Didoni Lanzoni and Germano, who participate by 2006 in order to keep alive in Milan a meeting point where you do comedy, but also art and culture.
I often participated in Pentesilive
, A sort of jam-session of metropolitan poets headed by Vincenzo Costantino "Cinaski" and Flavio Pirini at the Pentesilea Milan (all Saturdays);is between Pentesilive and Democomica who was born on my new character of the French show man (my first real comic character).
Always Cinaski and Pirin, Ragooledì took place, a spectacle of music, poetry, song and illusion, every second Wednesday of the month at Rago (the old Zelig) Viale Monza in Milan, and I hope to repeat these appointments with the new season.

What I instead stopped immediately in October, was the professional relationship with Miracoloamilano Restaurant Show, where I performed weekly for three years and where in the last year I had assumed the artistic direction (creating a single visual comedy show in Milan, made even more spectacular by the stage machinery in its possession), here was born on Freakabaret
, My company made up of stable Carlo Della Santa, Robin Sheller, Martelli Frax (Didi and Paul Mazzilli Brandolini). As already mentioned, I stopped by Miracoloamilano commitment to misunderstandings with the management, I have suffered for years, until I exploded
by bringing artists and performances away and 90% of customers (our audience fond). Among other things, the tv show that I made for Paola Barale to Scherzi a Parte, went on air in February of this year, but was shot right there last year!

Autumn 2008 I was still a guest in Lumache sciò
, Group of comedians made up of Marco Bazzoni Baz, Carlo Della Santa, Marzio Rossi, Alex De Santis, Mitch, Alice Mangione, staged every Monday at the Teatro di Milano Barios; invitations to perform in their show has continued even in 2009 and "threatening" to wish for the next season yet.

But most important of last autumn was my return to Paris at Théatre Trévise, the most famous theatre-off of Paris, where I have been fired years ago for turning off a cigarette on stage during one of my sketch (it was the month of October 2002), after 6 years the director has allowed me to come back and not tell you the emotion that I felt back on that stage,seemed that the time had not passed ever since ... even to support me in the stalls were the same two friends in Paris in the infamous evening ...
Son back, later, to perform at the Théatre Trévise January and May for the Festival International d' Expression Artistique Libre et Desordonné, which will resume on 13 September 2010.

During the autumn of 2008 I was invited to perform on TV Give me a 5 on Telenova and Festa in Piazza on Antenna 3, and expansion of Como in TV talk-show Zerotreuno
some interviews on my projects and my initiatives; my occasional investments in these programs have continued even during the winter and spring 2009.



After the new year to Cab 41 in Turin (one of the most important cabaret Italy), but especially after the Christmas holidays,
While in Varese, which is my hometown, I organized the second gala of the magic which took part in the famous swiss illusionist Fantasios, one of the first professional magicians I saw on TV as a child (and now I found on stage at present ..), also Mr.Forest (who came to attend the evening) is was thrilled to see in there! Unfortunately, the snow that surprised Varese that day has decimated the public, the previous year 500 people came to attend the first edition!I resumed my meetings and various events, among the various local let me quote the Fico d'India (formerly Harlequin) of Vedano Olona-VA (where I have taken the first steps decades ago along with Fichi d’India) and Giardino d’Inverno of Milan (where I tried in vain to "move" the company Freakabaret). But La Casa 139 of Via Ripamonti 139 and Bel Sit Barona Street (both in Milan), the Amigdala Theater (spectacular!) and Caffè Teatro in Verghera di samarate (where I saw the rise first sketch di Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo ... many years ago).

Varese, where many artist friends have played for free (and where so many other friends were sitting in the stalls). I must absolutely mention the exceptional performance, unique in the world, Alfredo Nocera, the inventor of 'Instant Fashion
On February 21 was for me a very important date, because I celebrated my first twenty years of professional artistic activities with a great show on the day of my fortieth birthday, the evening was held at the theater
, With a number of years running the world and all the great TV shows Planetary; perhaps you have seen on television where, in a few seconds and with the help of some pieces of fabric and two or three pins, creates wonderful evening dresses on her model. Alfredo was one of the first artists I met at the beginning of my career in late 80s, who see him on stage excitement to my birthday!

In March, then came the time to bring on stage a theatrical production: Ombre e Nebbia eccitazioni poetiche a Milano, a show where I was working for months and which I wanted very much, this is my second one artistic vein that brings me to explore the unconscious of human beings through the contamination of the arts. I created this show taking care of every aspect, from drama to art direction, until the final setting. The following is the presentation of the poster.

A sensory spectacle, dreamy, humorous
And a deep connection between music, dance, song, poetry and art of magic. Five performers from different artistic disciplines, but united by a common poetic, entering contaminationto create a theatrical paintings made of images, sounds and words. The stage was a bare black box wrapped in fog, without scenery, in order to enhance the action at the highest artistic and interpretive talents, with a subtle and discreet direction of lights, sounds and shadows. The play unfolds through a series of theatrical paintings"Dall'impronta dreams, where you the viewer to decide its own plot, Milan is the city where artists make out in the daily fog, shadows of madness to be translated into art; fog as a metaphor, because it is more dense, but in the eyes of the people ..

At this show was attended by singer Folco Orselli, the poet Vincenzo Costantino "Cinaski", the dancer Arianna Cavallo and the actor Germano Lanzoni, which occurred with an exchange of views artistic "extraordinary, the technical assistant Mauro Maderna, with which I began to work together to Miracoloamilano in 2006, now my trust technical staff, one hand hidden without which I could not get some visual effects and sound.
In one of the shows that I'm writing for next year I will not be for the first time on stage but only as a director, a job that has me more passionate and I'm studying at my expense (in the economic sense).

The month of April was very special and exciting, for two very different events with each other. The first "event" was to be able to bring my show in an art gallery, Spazio Tadini di Milano. I have performed with a performance of illusionism linked to the art world, with references to famous paintings and literary quotations; Title Atto Magico, live contamination#3
, With the pianist Lena Panfilova and bassist Flavio Settegrani.
(The first live contamination had taken in the Teatro San Fedele in Milan in 2007 and had attended trumpeter Raffaele Kohler and Andy of Bluvertigo.)
Space is always Tadini, from September to begin a beautiful collaboration, give birth to a survey by the IMAGE / MAGIE, with monthly meetings in which the magic blends with the world of art (in September will receive the first detailed disclosure of this review) .

The second event of the month of April, very important, was the experience that I lived in Italy in the early days of the earthquake, where I performed in the tent camps in the province of L'Aquila, entertaining children and adults, between my notes on facebook and myspace you can find a "story" on those days.

During the spring I participated in several charity shows at the Teatro Ciak di Milano for important causes, I have shared the stage with Debora Villa, Paolo Rossi, Mr.Forest, Max Pisu, Pirin Flavio, Flavio Oreglio, Ale and Franz, Cinaski, Stefano Chiodaroli, Claudio Batta, Walter Leonardi, Lucia Vasini, Pali and Dispali and many others that I can list so many .. but they are all united in the disclosure of important social messages. But we know that these people evenings rushes over to see that the artist famous for the cause ..but at least the humanitarian rejoice!
Also in Milan, I was invited as a guest at the Premio Nebbia 2009 at Teatro San Fedele and the Teatro della Contraddizione in the show Radio, ovvero, l’adunata dei refrattari.

Meanwhile in June has arrived and the season was ending, I concluded with several open-air shows (finally) and some event (such as the convention Max Mayer at the Casino of Campione d'Italia).June is the month in which I some casting for television show.

At the beginning of July is a funny thing happened, more or less, as I have shown (for a very famous agency) at a fashion show in Castellaneta (TA) and I finished in a newspaper of gossip, a week after he came out a reportage where there were photos of Albano and Tacconi (also guests)and presenter Barbara Chiappini, plus a photo of me (with my name in the caption) in the middle of six beautiful models .The thing I was amused but I hoped not see nobody (I like to look in newspapers for other reasons), however the Tabac seller of my country, where still live my parents saw me and did a great advertising ... so now when I go to Biandronno everyone asks me of Lele Mora..

The last week of commitments has been to mid-July, ending with my participation in the spectacle of the Magic Week in Saint Vincent, where I found old friends and met new ones, in an exhibition organized by Walter Rolfo and the Circle Amici della Magia di Torino.
Now I will enjoy the month of August between sea, mountains and lakes before re-jump again in the work (I’ll make just 4 or 5 shows but no seasons or a Disney summer tour), I am very happy for what I expect in the new season but I absolutely need to rest physically and mentally. I have to prepare for the start of the recordings, in September, Central Station
